CUDECA (from cuidados del cancer, meaning cancer care) was founded by president Joan Hunt, O.B.E., in 1992, after her husband passed away.
Joan has dedicated her life to giving cancer patients exceptional treatment through palliative care as well as offering support for their families.
CUDECA's new modern hospice in Benalmadena enables terminally ill cancer patients to be cared for with dignity.
CUDECA also promotes a programme of study, training, investigation and awareness of palliative care.
