It's now almost three months since Martyn and Tania Aldridge completed their trek to Mount Everest base camp in support of Club La Costa's 'Smile Foundation' charity.
Ready for Everest
It may all seem like a long time ago, but the intrepid couple were revisiting their photographs during the Christmas holidays, which brought it all back to them.

Interest in and generous support for the venture came from across a wide range of friends, Club La Costa guests, suppliers and employees and, in total, the epic journey has raised over Â18,000. This fantastic sum will be put to very good use in supporting the Smile Foundation's special ADIMI hospital project in Mijas, and is particularly welcome in these ever more challenging times.
