My wife and I are regular visitors to Spain and love the climate, the food, the people and the atmosphere. We would dearly love to buy a property there, but would only be able to use it for a week or two every year. Because we would be spending so little time there, we would be very concerned about arranging maintenance of the property for the rest of the year, and keeping it safe. As we only have a small budget of £20,000 we had considered the possibility of buying one or two weeks' timeshare, but don't know much about the kind of resorts available and how to go about joining a scheme. Can Spain give us any advice, and point us in the right direction?
