Mrs Jean Martindale
My husband and I have been members of Club La Costa for approximately 17 years. I have been particularly impressed with the prompt service and friendliness by the reception and maintenance whenever there has been any small problems they were sorted within 24 hrs. Congratulations Club La Costa for providing us with many wonderful holidays.
Pat and Dave Beresford
May I first of all thank all concerned for looking after Pat and I and our party of friends and family so well over the Christmas and New Year Holiday 2004. All 10 of us where impressed with the service received in all areas.
We had heard concerns about the quality available at " Club La Costa at Paradise " but we were pleasantly suprised at the amount of work carried out to improve the resort and when we moved to our apartment at "Club La Costa at Monterey" we where suitably impressed with the ongoing alterations so much so that we have now booked our holidays for September and Christmas 2005 and 2006 in advance.
As always the staff take on any task you present them with and stop at nothing to make your stay comfortable, and that's all staff from reception through to cleaners (it's nice when cleaning staff welcome you back on site and even remember your names). Kiko at the Hut was exceptional and always manages to find that extra little something to make you feel special, and Karen Price has always spent some time with us just to make sure everything was as perfect as you intend it to be.
Once again as always over the last 8 or 9 years we were " Home from Home" and found it easy to entertain all of our guests.
Much Love and Fondness.
Mrs Bridget English
I just thought that whilst I had some time on my hands, toddler permitting, that I would write a few notes to you about our holidays so far this year . We have been very lucky this year to have had three Club la Costa weeks away, Duchally in April, Portugal in June and more recently France in October. Every single one of our breaks were very enjoyable and each have their own special memories . Both my husband and I agree, that the standard of our accommodation has been excellent and without exception the staff at all the resorts have assisted us in getting the best out of our holiday.
We were wondering if there are any more resorts added to your extensive brochure, or even if you have ideas in the pipeline. I was quite taken by the idea of the canal boat holidays.
Finally, although we have not been able to use our "Gold certificates", at this moment we feel that we have bought into something which provides good value for money , and we look forward to future adventures with Club La Costa , and would happily recommend people.

My husband and I joined 3 years ago. We are both pensioners, so we wanted to be sure of the places we stayed, and we have not been disappointed. Every holiday we have had has been good. I ring up and everything is taken care of from apartments to flights and cars.
Mr & Mrs Anderson
My husband and I are so delighted with our purchase at Club La Costa I just feel like telling everyone what a superb complex it is. We decided that this is the holiday for us for the foreseeable future. I really do not think the service would be any better at a five star hotel!

Since becoming members seven years ago my husband, Malcolm and I have had some really superb holidays. We have often brought members of our family, including our grandchildren, who have also shared in the CLC experience. We have been to Australia, the Indian River in Florida, Tenerife and Spain. However, last year we went on our most memorable holiday yet. We travelled to the idyllically located Royal Safari & Beach Club in Kenya. Our apartment overlooked the ocean, the grounds were full of palm trees and exotic plants, the sun shone every day and the food was exquisite. Each and every member of staff wore a smile on his or her face all day long. They were eager to help and always spoke to every passing guest, greeting us with one of my favourite Kenyan words, "Jambo", meaning, "How-ya-doin'?"! Another favourite saying of theirs is "Hakuna Matata", meaning "No problem". They say it all the time and they mean it.
In the middle of our holiday we went on a five-day safari that was absolutely awesome; we stayed at four very different but beautiful lodges and just saw some absolutely incredible scenery and wildlife. Our driver, Fred, took us out deep into the bush each day and drove until we had seen every bird, animal or plant we could wish to see. One of my favourite memories is a family of lions; mum and dad sleeping after their zebra snack (sorry!) whilst their little cubs were still finishing off their supper.
I know there is poverty there and the condition of the main roads is not good, but the warmth of the people, the smiles and waves from the children will be with me forever. They have so little, yet they are so happy. We were affected profoundly by our Kenyan experience and would recommend a holiday there to all your members. If you are lucky enough to journey to CLC Kenya, please make sure you pack lots of paper, pencils, pens and rulers for the children that are desperate to learn and walk miles to get to school. They have to buy everything and the cost to their parents is huge compared to their income. Their delight on receiving something so inexpensive is indeed humbling.
Thank you, CLC, for another wonderful holiday.
